Portents and Oddities
The second book in the Sophie Feegle series plunges Sophie into a serial killer investigation when she starts seeing murder victims in her dreams before they end up on her autopsy table.
Synopsis
After defeating a Fae fanatic bent on closing the portal between earth and the magic realm, Sophie Feegle is ready for a breather. Back at the morgue doing the autopsy assistant job she loves, she’s looking forward to whiskey at her favorite ogre pub and maybe even a date with a certain sexy fox shifter. Spoiler: the universe has other plans.
When Sophie recognizes the body on her autopsy table from a dream, her world is shaken all over again. More bodies follow, and it becomes clear that a serial killer is hunting San Francisco’s Mythicals. But why? And why is Sophie seeing the victims in her dreams before they die?
As Sophie and her crew chase down the killer, they encounter Mythicals with strange and dangerous powers. But the deeper they wade into these treacherous waters, the more uncertain it becomes: are Sophie and her friends the hunters, or are they the ones being hunted?

What Readers Are Saying
"Excellent series This author is new to me and quickly becoming a favorite. The story drew me in and kept me engaged. There is great world building, interesting and likeable characters. It's a good mix of romance, adventure, paranormal and sci fi. My only regret is how long I have to wait between books!"
"Oh so good I was convinced I knew who was who in the group of Sophie's friends. Who was good and who was bad. There are so many twists and turns, you are there with them all....I had to read it in 1 sitting. It's the best set of books I've read. Bring on some more please"
"Sophie is hoping her life will calm down after the fight against the fey at the tower but poor thing can’t catch a break. Her group of odd ones are bonding and becoming closer and she is just the human in the middle. Honestly she handles all the things really well with tons of snark and sarcasm of course lol. But when the people in her dreams and fanciful stories start appearing in real life she’s beginning to question her sanity. Having ogres and were animals in her life no thing. Dream character on her autopsy table is just not okay. This book makes me laugh out loud and keeps the reader guessing as to what is coming next. And how can you not love her neighbor. I recommend reading the entire series to not miss anything or be confused."
